The road to Swansea

Swansea - a new location for me to visit. Having passed through the city a few times before in the past, the appeal to explore it in more depth has been on my list for a while... I think this is mainly due to the 1997 movie ‘Twin Town’ - a cult classic. Roaming aimlessly around, it's amazing what you can find. I took both the 18-70mm and the 10-20mm wide-angle lenses - they proved to be the best tools for the job. It’s hard to compare it back to when the movie was made, as it looks as though it’s changed quite heavily throughout the years - comparing scenes from movies isn't always the best idea, I must admit! The unique architecture along with the vibrant street scenes was a particular highlight of my trip. Also, another spiral staircase ticked off the list - this one was a total surprise that I happened to stumble upon!

Initially, when I arrived in the morning, I thought about visiting Mumbles and Langland Bay, but I got way too carried away within the ‘pretty, not so shitty city’…
