A Roman October

I made a promise to myself a few months ago that I'd return to the City of Bath during the Autumnal season. Leaving a few stones unturned from my last visit, I was eager to explore the city in more depth and see what photo opportunities were on offer. I had a few recommendations from a friend who lives locally - giving me a rough idea where to go and what to do. Arriving at dawn, I found the city to be very quiet and picturesque, surrounded by the beautiful golden coloured Bath stone. It's relatively easy to roam around each landmark within this city - it's very accessible and not difficult to find each spot. Taking the short drive to Beckford Tower after, which was high on my list - and perhaps the highlight of the day. The staircase alone is worth visiting - I raced to the top of the stairs whilst it was quiet and took a few different angled shots from the 10-20mm wide-angle lens.

The city is dominantly Georgian - It's good, but it's no Ernő Goldfinger - in my opinion, it needs more Brutalist influence - how typically Bristolian of me...
