Portishead promenading
The unpredictable elements of nature, it doesn't matter how often you study the weather forecast - you'll often be greeted with a surprise or two (the joys of living in the UK)... I think I experienced a mixture of four seasons throughout the day in Portishead. It's another location I have fond memories of from my childhood! Taking the 24-70mm lens for my trip (it's one of the most versatile pieces of kit for any photographer to own), walking leisurely along the North Somerset coastal path, whilst trying to figure out how to put together a decent photo set. With the strong southeasterly wind along with heavy, frequent hail showers - it proved to be a challenge. However, I wasn't going to retreat!
Sometimes you just need to accept the circumstances given - it's out of human control. At the end of the day, it's what you make of the conditions after all...
