There’s no place like home

Whenever I seem to arrive at Bristol docks with my camera, the weather conditions seem to drastically change and visibility seems to be poor. Maybe it’s because I’m a local who often overlooks these things and take it for granted a lot of the time. Or I'm just plagued with bad luck at this spot. However, this particular morning was much different... Sometimes, the most dramatic skies often last the shortest period of time, lasting only a matter of minutes. I felt prepared and attached the 18-140mm lens onto the body of the camera. In what was a surreal event, it was quite funny to spot several passers-by just stopping in the street - gazing at the golden-coloured sky. They were also taking photos! The forecast didn't predict these rich opportunities for dramatic light - it was a total surprise.

During the course of the morning, I revisited the Bristol Museum for the first time in a number of years. Taking a photo of the Banksy Sculpture in the main hall for a project I have had planned for a while...
