An evening in Clevedon

A North Somerset coastal town that often gets overlooked by many, for whatever reason?! This relatively quiet seascape gives a good chance to unwind and relax. A picturesque town with a good number of viewpoints also! I remember that a few years ago - I managed to spend a number of evenings during the course of the summer here. To be lucky enough to live nearby, it’s hard not to take advantage of this location! Depending on the conditions, you will often find the sailing boats out - which provides a calming effect, a chance to slow down and take in the surroundings. Along with the golden tones behind the pier in the evenings, watching the sunset - you can take your time to capture a number of different compositions. I keep meaning to visit in the depths of winter to capture some dramatic scenes. For some reason, it's always seemed quite appealing...

At sunset, you will often find a number of photographers nearby - especially during the summer months. Usually because of the positioning of the sun setting behind the pier. It seems as though it is a personal favourite for many others too…
