Early morning Bath

Odd to think I live relatively close to the City of Bath but never seem to visit it?! Over the past week, I did take a couple of 'recce’ day trips to familiarise myself with some potential photography spots. I took mental notes of where to go for the next day - I set out early... Even when driving during the early hours into the city, I soon discovered that finding a parking space can unfortunately, be a bit of a nightmare. It seems to be a hot topic wherever you seem to go in the country (although Bath isn't the most accessible when it comes to parking)! I took a couple of new lenses I recently purchased - the 105mm prime and 10-20mm - I found myself being a typical tourist. Mainly using shutter-priority, the low light ambience brought out some moody scenes.

It would be nice to revisit this location again in the Autumn. The colours have the potential to make the scenery stand out. Plus, having discovered a couple of other spots (mainly by accident), I think it's a city I need to be more accustomed to - considering the short drive, I really have no excuse...
