Cardiff wanderings

It has been a while since I last made a trip to Cardiff. A relative was back home from University and he was telling me that it’s an ideal place to roam about with a camera. I took down his suggestions and he provided a couple of map pins also. I was curious and went to explore the city with an open mind… Driving to the city during the early hours of the morning, I started the day in Cardiff Bay. It was relatively quiet out on the streets of South Wales, which allowed me to take the time to frame a couple of different angles and change lenses with a sense of ease.

Taking both the 18-140mm and 10-20mm lenses, each spot seemed to require an adjustment of some sort to frame correctly. The mini-tripod helped with getting to a couple of low-angle shots to try some long-exposure shots also - some worked and some didn't. It usually requires a little trial and error when experimenting with light trails within the city...
